The washboard abs Scam

Often I wish I had more time to spend on exercise? Trust me, you're not alone. The number one reason people say they do not exercise is due to the lack of time. With people working longer hours during the week of work, family commitments, and drives to and from work, often put us past.

But can you really see results in the gym five minutes day, "the way home exercise equipment infomercials promise? Remember this: if it sounds too good to be true, it is. These products provide consumers with the hope promise of "quick weight loss" and "millions of dollars abs." Consumers give up gym completely when the products are more difficult to use than expected, or if not see the results that thought they would see.

Ab Exercisers worst of the bunch of the worst culprits when it comes to the "most thin in just five minutes a day "scams are the ones who call themselves" ab exercises. "The problem? spot reduction does not work. Exercises can help tone and build your muscles, but they are wonderfully strong abs hidden under layers of fat, which no man shall see the results!

Not we say that ab exercises themselves are bad. We are saying that these exercises will not by itself the six-pack abs. cracks did not even give you at least resultsbut cracks do not cost money, and not take up space in your closet!

In a study by the Biomechanics Lab at San Diego State University and funded by ACE (American Council on Exercise), ab exercisers many advertised in infomercials were found to be no more effective or only somewhat more effective than traditional crunches. Other teams ab not require a study to support the fact that it is not up to their claims. Everything you need for this is common sense. A NASA scientist is not need to sit in a tin to know that will not fly his ass to the moon.

Here are just some of the ab exercisers that do not comply with their exaggerations and false promises.

Ab Lounge XL – The Ab Lounge XL aims to "strengthen and tone your upper abs, lower abs and obliques faster than you ever thought possible. "The product looks like a folding chair, and the show effortlessly infomercials people rocking back and forth in his chair. The momentum is doing most of the work. The manufacturers claim the AB Lounge XL works because it provides a wider range of motion, causing the muscles ab working longer. But since that? And does it matter? Research shows that cracks are most effective when completed in a range of no more than 30 degrees. By putting this in your living room will be more likely to be used as a chaise lounge rather than as an athlete. Save your money, sit-ups on a mat, and buy a La-Z-Boy, if you want an extra chair. Torso Track – Once again, this product promises results in five minutes a day, be very skeptical of these claims. He kneels Users in the brace attached and slides back and forth, exercising your abs, arms, shoulders, and back in one motion. According to the study of the ECA, torso track seemed to be slightly more effective than traditional crunches. However, the study reports, "This benefit is likely offset by training the lower back discomfort reported a significant number of subjects while using the Torso Track. "If it hurts, you're doing wrong! (I do not mean the burn that comes from working hard muscles … I'm talking about aches and pains caused by straining and pulling in awkward positions.) Web site says this store exerciser easily under the bed … and that's where it should stay.

Ab Rocker – In two separate studies of ACE, the Ab Rocker, perhaps the worst in the bunch, showed that 80 percent less effective than crunches. Why would anyone want to spend money on an athlete who is only a fifth actually something you can do for free? Most users reported that it was difficult to use, and some said that tipping back on it the first few times I tried! Ineffective and dangerous … a losing combination.

Red Exerciser – This is another example of how manufacturers are trying to create a new mousetrap to catch consumers, but use the same old lies. The product claims it can reduce inches from your waist to sit in a seat that turns red as any chair office. By bending the upper body from left to right while holding handles, which involve the exercise of his abdomen, where you need it, to sculpt a slimmer, again. The biggest problem with this team is that it is a movement of the rotary torso, which can put stress on the spine if not done correctly. The dangers are increased when the additional resistance is added, putting more pressure on your spine while twisting his body backward and forward. People with back problems should completely prevent this movement. There is a tension knob makes adjusting the resistance in Red Exerciser called the "System of maximum torque resistance," makes sounds as if some kind of advanced technology in question. This team is anything but advanced. It's just another marketing scheme and a loss money.

The Bean – One of the latest ab exercises, the Bean promises a workout "Length in just five minutes a day!" If you read further, you will see that the Bean can be used in place of a stability ball (exercise ball) in Pilates or yoga. But why not buy a much cheaper, more reliable, stability ball? Unfortunately there have been numerous reports of deflation Bean and, since buying one to test myself and it did, in fact, after deflation few months, I can attest to that theory. I had a stability ball about ten years ago and is still like new. The other problem with ab workout in the Bean is that it allows you to move forward and backward, give a boost. It is a great ride if you have a four year old daughter old, like me, but if you really want to exercise your abdominal muscles, there are far better solutions for less money.
