Diseases of the heart of Part X – How to Prevent Heart Disease With Diet

As mentioned in previous articles, heart disease kills more than 2,000 Americans everyday. Approximately 60 million Americans suffer from heart disease. There are several causes of heart disease. Anything that serves to damage the inner lining of blood vessels and prevents the transport of oxygen and nutrition to the heart can be defined as a risk of heart disease. Most heart disease is preventable with a change of lifestyle and healthy eating.
Poor nutrition is a major cause of heart disease resulting in the accumulation of cholesterol and fat in the inner lining of arteries that narrows the arteries, impedes the flow and eventually causes heart attacks.

To prevent heart disease, your daily diet should contain:
1. Fiber
Fiber can be soluble or insoluble. As mentioned in a previous article, soluble fiber can lower your LDL and increase your HDL cholesterol while insoluble fiber has no effect on cholesterol but promotes regular bowel movements. Food consumption fat causes the liver to release bile into the intestines to break down fat. The soluble fiber will help eliminate the bile instead of returning it to the blood resulting in reduced amounts of cholesterol in the blood.

2. Reduce intake of saturated fats and trans fats
We know that saturated fats and trans fats are toxins that cause cholesterol to accumulate in the arteries of damaging the artery wall and reduces the arterial passage because poor circulation and oxygen transport cells of our body in the outcome of blood pressure that the heart must work harder than normal in order to provide enough food for the body of the `. Finally, the heart will fail and result in heart disease. It is recommended that you reduce consumption of animal fats and increasing consumption of cold water fish which is the best source of omega 3 and 6 fatty acids that can help your cholesterol levels and reduce your blood pressure.

3. Diet rich in complex carbohydrates
Vegetables, fruit, beans and grains contain large amounts of plant pigments known as flavonoids that protect against heart disease healthy. Unfortunately study shows that diets rich in complex carbohydrates can increase insulin release in response to excessive carbohydrate diet. The type and quantity of carbohydrate foods may need individual attention. Please consult your doctor if you want include large quantities of complex carbohydrates in your diet.

4. Drink half your body weight in water or juice ounces
If you weigh 160 pounds, then you need to drink 80 ounces of water or juice to prevent the cells of our body to dehydrate. Maintenance Service normal cells of our body is a healthy way to normalize blood pressure.
